Ios App Icon Disappeared

Reset home screen layout.

Ios app icon disappeared. Look through your purchased apps in the app store. You probably have the app in a folder or on another home screen. Hit reset everything and restore via icloud.

Select reset home screen layout. Next type app store in the search field. Scroll down and tap on general.

Go to the app store updates tap your profile picture or icon purchased my purchases or family purchases choose not on this iphone. Hence you can try resetting the home screen to make the app icons come back to their default places. Search for app store on your device.

Hence it is a good idea to first ask your iphone to check for the missing app store icon. When you find that apps don t appear even in itunes or if the sync doesn t really put all apps into the iphone you might want to head over to the purchases section. What if you restored already via itunes and the apps are missing.

Swipe down on the screen of your iphone. Return back to the app store app search for the initially hidden iphone apps or missing apps and re download. Even then the simulator still kept showing the same old default ios app icon.

It is possible that the app store icon is hiding on a different home screen. Search for app store on your device. The home screen will revert back to its default layout and the app store icon will reappear on your first page of apps.
